Alicia Rose Quinn is best know for her alias Lou P Scarlett. Born in the depths of Sydney’s cabaret and music scene she is an elegant, eccentric, garbage-glamour showgirl using vocal looping and original pop music to create her own brand of surreal and satirical futuristic burlesque. She has performed for company’s including Model Co., Retrosweat (Channel 7), Affinity Diamonds, CR Kennedy, the Promax Awards (Host 2019), Stocklands and Hong Kong Cancer Fund Ball (HK 2017/2020) to name a few. She has toured with The Mad Hatters Tea Party (Sydney Opera Company/Strut and Fret, 2017) and starred as Zoe in the Original Cast of Jonathan Holme’s Musical –  Three in the Bed (2017/2018). You may also recall Lou P from her appearance as one of the flirty thirty on Take Me Out (Channel 7 2018). Lou P studied full-time dance at Brent Street (2009) and completed her Bachelor of Music (Theatre) with Distinction at the Australian Institute of Music (2013) before gained her first starring role as the resident singer in Timeout Sydney’s#1 Burlesque show Risqué Review (Slide Lounge2014-18). Since then she has gone on to host and sing in various residential shows at Slide including Gin Mill Social, El Circo Blanc, El Circo, Voyeur and Covergirl. Some of her recent productions include The Philosophers Strip – A Harry Potter Burlesque Parody (Choreographer/Creator/Performer-Oxford Art Factory 2018), her first solo show Time in Lou (Sydney Fringe 2018) and producing and hosting pop music night Pop Cherch (Knox St Bar 2019/2020 funded by City of Sydney Arts Grant).

She has performed at various festivals and shows including GPO’s Crystal Boudoir (2019), Employees Only (2019), Secret Garden Festival (2018), Watsons Bay Hotel ( NYE 2019), Home The Venue  (NYE 2018), Australian Burlesque Festival (2018/2019), Claire’s Kitchen Pop-Up Cabaret (2017), Plastic Soup’s Late Night Buffet (Bondi Feast 2018), Daddy Issues Dance Comp (Sydney Fringe 2019), Royal Heart Revue (2019),as well as many iconic Sydney party’s including Heaps Gay, Girl Thing, Rule 34, Hell Fire, Dr Sketchy’s Sydney, Uplate and Uncut, Mr Falcons Burlesque, Soultrap Revue, Canned Fruit Parties,Burlesque in Hand and Sideshow – Universal. In addition to performing, writing and producing Lou P is also a teacher and choreographer. As a creative director, choreographer and dancer she has worked with musicians such as Nardean, Froyo, KLP, Thunderfox and Sayah. As a teacher, in 2019, she founded burlesque fitness class Femflexx (@femflexxfitness) running Monday 630-730pm at the Imperial Hotel Erskineville. She has taught Femflexx at Ricochet Song Writing Camps (KLP), the Sydney Opera House (Health and Safety Week 2018), various schools, events, birthday and hens parties. She also teaches Barre, Buti Yoga, Burlesque and Femflexx regularly for companies including Sydney Pole, Sky Sirens, Fitness Playground, All Sorts Fitness, Sydney Dance Company and Workshop Redfern. She previously fronted electro-pop band Cohlaj who released their debut EP Audiomeal in 2016.
